The NCA X-PCD Helix Process Challenge Test Device (PCD) is made using stainless steel rather than conventional plastic which makes it a more durable device.
The NCA X-PCD Helix Process Challenge Test Device is used to ensure that your steriliser is functioning properly, as indicated by a Class 2 test strip which is placed inside the Helix PCD module and changes colour to confirm correct processing.
Critical Parameters (in a standard Hospital steam steriliser & Dental bench top B Class steriliser): 3.5 minutes at 134˚C; 15 minutes at 121˚C STEAM process.
